If you know how to jumble two words and come up with an interesting article, then let’s start!
Here are the basics to help you start with article marketing:
Keywords. Yes, the most important set of words you should always remember. These words play a vital role on your article as the different search engines see it. Keywords usually consist of around 2-3 words that are common and what people do always key in on search engine box when they are looking for information on the net.
Format. It is all with the format, how you key-in and mix the words, etc. Most importantly make sure the keywords are strategically placed within the article to maximize its visibility to the search engines.
Content. Most of the authors, entrepreneurs and bloggers do write articles for the sake of having a good page rank with regards to the search engines, not putting emphasis that the readers do have eyes and intelligence to know what is a good content compared to crap. As much as the article should have good ranking, it must also relay valuable information.
Resource Box. This is where article marketing is. A resource box should contain call to action lines, links to the website being promoted related of course to the article written, most importantly copyright information. Resource box is always placed at the end of an article.
Article Directory. An article will be nothing if it is not on the net. Submission of the article to an article directory is the last step of article marketing. This is where web promotion starts.
